About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat between four friends who kept sending each other screenshots of whatever we were stuck on. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, so here we are. There's no big publisher behind this — just people who like games and have too many opinions.

We pick titles the same way anyone does: what's climbing the charts, what a friend recommended, what looked odd enough to be interesting. Then someone on the team actually installs it and plays for a few days before writing a single word. If a game is boring after an hour, we say so.

Every review here comes from real hands-on time. We note the controls, how the difficulty ramps up, whether the tutorial respects your intelligence, and how the game holds up on an older phone. We're not chasing every new release — we'd rather cover fewer games and cover them well.

If we get something wrong, tell us. We update reviews when a game changes with a big patch, and we keep the old notes so you can see what shifted.
