Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a gentle adventure game that trusts you to explore. You wander a small village at dusk, tapping to examine things and slowly piecing together why everyone left. There's no combat and no timer — just curiosity pulling you forward.

The puzzles are woven into the world rather than dropped in as obstacles. Figuring out how to open the old mill actually taught me something about the story. The hand-drawn art and soft ambient sound do a lot of heavy lifting for the mood.

It's a short experience, maybe three hours, but it doesn't overstay its welcome. If you want something quiet and thoughtful for an evening, this is it.
